Almost four months ago my friend Carlos Whittaker told me about Soul City Church, a movement of Churches joining God in His Transformational Love of the Soul, in the City, to change the World. The heart of the church grabbed me and I wanted to produce a video for them while I was in Chicago speaking at the Cultivate and Story Conferences.
And over the last few weeks I have been working closely with Jarrett Stevens to help produce a memorable spot for Soul City Church’s BE Campaign. Last week while in Chicago, we began production and shot over a period of a few hours and got some amazing footage. I’m currently posting the spot and really happy so far with how everything is turning out. By the way, I used the Panasonic HDSLR Lumix GH1 to shoot all the video; take a look at some of the shots.
That looks great! I can't wait to see the video.
WOW – Matt I can't believe we didn't get a chance to meet while we are in CHI – What a huge gift this is to Soul City Church. Praying that God allows you to be involved in the story of this church for many years to come. We are deeply blessed!

Matt,
Totally humbled to be part of this project, but stoked to have been a small component! Your talent breeds jealousy–pray that I stop hating 😉
ps Doesn’t it kind of look like a United Colors of Benetton ad? So multi-ethic!
