Unplugging

plug-copy

Silence is a source of great strength. – Lao Tzu

I’m a networker, a person who loves connecting with people and experiencing life and passions with others.

I’ve been on Twitter for a little over two year. I’ve been on Facebook for even longer. Early adpoter? Not sure. I’ve been connected to some incredible people who share the same passion and vision I do, all thanks to 140 characters.

But I have to be honest, it’s become necessity, a habit and it’s really not allowed me to focus on some important things. I believe sometimes it’s good to unplug and reconnect with God, family, and whats around you.

I know I’m not doing anything ground breaking, but I think disconnecting can be good… so, that’s what I’m going to do. I need some time to focus, pray, and reconnect with myself and just BE!

Don’t worry, nothing’s amiss, just acknowledging some time away will do me some good.

Not sure for how long at this point but as of Monday, August 24th, it will begin.

Appreciate all of you, your friendship, and insight. I look forward to reconnecting again soon. If you need to get a hold of me, I’m still an email away.

Thanks and see you soon!

  4. Good stuff! The challenge for me is the balance of working in and with technology daily and for the longest time carrying a Blackberry be connected 24/7. It built this compulsion to be connected at all times. I catch myself getting wrestless if I dont check my email, my iPhone, twitter or surf. Thanks for insight!
